Workshops and Lectures are mostly given by traveling artists who have come to the tri-state area for performances and other work endeavors. It is always worthwhile to take a few workshops a year to supplement your dance and music education - it gives a different perspective on the work you do as an artist/student.

Pradhuman Nayak joins us to teach kalaripayattu workshops on a regular basis in NYC. Kalari payattu includes strikes, kicks, grappling, preset forms, weaponry and healing methods.

A 3-day intensive that began to teach the basic steps of Odissi in Kelucharan Mohapatra's distinctive style.

Beginners Odissi Workshop with Rahul Acharya

Rahul will provide a workshop for dancers of all levels that emphasize the unique aspects of odissi including the tribhanga and stance. It will include a warmup that Rahul has designed that is great for dancers of all styles.

South Indian Percussion Workshop with Ganesh Kumar
